The Daily Cup Roasters, Dubai, UAE (“The Daily Cup”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to align with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).
1. Data we collect
- Order and account data: name, email, phone number, delivery address, order history, subscription preferences (roast, size, grind, frequency).
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. We receive a payment token, card brand and last four digits, not your full card number.
- Corporate enquiries: company name, your role, office size, requirements and the details you type into our quote form.
- Newsletter data: your email address when you join “Your Daily Dose”.
- Communications: emails, calls or messages you send our support team.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and cookie identifiers.

3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations:
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Delivery and courier partners, who receive your name, address and phone number.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, such as Vercel, and our content management system.
- Email and newsletter platforms, analytics providers and customer-support tools.
- Professional advisers, auditors, and authorities where the law requires.
4. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UAE. Where we transfer personal data abroad, we do so only as permitted by the PDPL, for example to countries with adequate protection or under contractual safeguards.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your cart, login and checkout working. With your consent we also use analytics and marketing cookies to understand how the Site is used. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the Site working.
6. How long we keep it
Account and order data is kept while your account is active and for 5years afterwards for accounting, tax and legal-claims purposes. Enquiry data from corporate leads is kept for up to 12 months unless you become a customer. We then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPL you may ask us to:
- confirm what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data, or restrict or object to its processing, where the law allows;
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Email info@thedailycup.ae and we will respond within 2 days. We may need to verify your identity first. You can also complain to the UAE Data Office if you believe your rights were infringed.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and trusted providers to protect your data. No online system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly of any suspected breach.
9. Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Third-party links
The Site links to social networks such as Instagram, X and TikTok. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you of material changes by email or a notice on the Site.
